The project is designed to address current issues related to various forms of internet abuse, with the general aim of improving the safety of children and young people on the internet.
The project defines two specific goals:
- To educate and inform children and young people, as well as their parents, teachers, and the general public about various risks on the internet, and to offer innovative mechanisms for their protection on the internet through a developed mobile application;
- To enhance the capacities of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the prevention and combating of internet addiction problems among children and young people through team education and the development of new educational programs on the mentioned topic.
The project resulted in the mobile application “CSI,” which is available for download on the Google Play store, as well as enhanced programs of the Center in the field of prevention and combating of internet addiction in children and young people.
The project was implemented in 2021 with the financial support of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications.
