The goal of the project “Safe Environment – A Prerequisite for the Operation of the Day Care Center” was to ensure adequate safety and spatial conditions for implementing the “Get Involved!” program, which provides day care services for children and youth with behavioral problems. The project focused on creating a safe, functional, and stimulating environment that supports the prevention of risky behaviors, early inclusion of children and youth in community activities, and their successful social integration.
Project activities included improvements to infrastructural, technical, and safety conditions at the premises of the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, including the purchase and installation of air-conditioning units, inspection of the fire alarm system, testing the integrity of gas installations, installation and activation of a gas detection system, and construction of water and sewage connections.
As a result, safety and technical working conditions were significantly improved, creating the prerequisites for launching and sustainably operating the day care service. The level of safety for users and staff was increased, facility functionality was enhanced, and compliance with applicable technical and safety standards was ensured. Part of the technical inspection of the facility was successfully completed without objections from relevant authorities, and the final approval is expected in the upcoming period.
The project “Safe Environment – A Prerequisite for the Operation of the Day Care Center” was implemented by the Center for Missing and Exploited Children from July 1 to December 31, 2025, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina – Provincial Secretariat for Sports and Youth.
