The project aims to empower children in foster care and their foster families through education, the development of communication skills, and raising awareness about the importance of a safe and healthy environment. The project promotes mutual trust and support within families and the wider community, with a particular focus on preventing violence, strengthening children’s social and emotional skills, and improving communication and understanding within foster families.

Project activities include educational workshops on peer and digital violence, empathy development, and positive parenting; sports activities and team games to strengthen cooperation and trust; creative workshops for joint projects between children and foster parents to stimulate creativity and mutual understanding; and a social media campaign to raise awareness about the importance of foster care and encourage citizens to become foster parents.

The project contributes to strengthening relationships within foster families, empowering children and foster parents, improving communication and understanding, and developing skills for violence prevention and non-violent communication. Through joint activities, children and foster parents develop mutual trust, creativity, and a sense of community, while the wider public gains greater awareness of the importance of foster care.

The project is being implemented by the Center for Missing and Exploited Children from January 1 to December 31, 2026, with the support of the Ministry for Family Care and Demography of the Republic of Serbia.
