The project “Together Towards a Stronger Family Bonds” is an initiative addressing the issue of weakened family relationships and the lack of support for children and youth with behavioral problems. In a society where families increasingly suffer from the consequences of social, economic and psychological challenges, this project emphasizes the importance of strengthening family stability and creating an environment that encourages personal development and social integration.
Research highlights the significance of early intervention in strengthening family relationships, especially when children are at risk of negative environmental influences. The project is designed to provide support through educational, counseling, and practical activities aimed at empowering both families and the community as a whole.
The key focus of the project is the implementation of a range of activities that directly address the needs of the target group. Emotional literacy workshops, organized in an interactive format, encourage better understanding and expression of emotions, both for parents and children. Educational sessions on internet safety and the use of artificial intelligence raise awareness about risks and ways to protect in the digital environment. Additionally, joint sports activities contribute to building mutual trust and strengthening teamwork within families.
The project also includes the production of a short promotional video aimed to showcase the experiences of participants and the results of activities, encouraging the wider community to engage in supporting families. The project involves direct work with 20 beneficiaries, both children and parents, as well as an indirect impact on over 100 members of the local community.
The project resulted in creating the conditions for long-term stability and strengthening family relationships, contributing to the development of healthy and supportive communities. It represents a significant step in strengthening family structures and improving social welfare in the Republic of Serbia.
The project was implemented in 2024, with the support of the Ministry for Family Care and Demography.
