The Center for Missing and Exploited Children – CNZD is a non-profit organization established in accordance with the Law on Associations of the Republic of Serbia on April 19, 2010 with the main goal of improving the safety of children in Serbia.

The Center for Missing and Exploited Children – CNZD is a non-profit organization established in accordance with the Law on Associations of the Republic of Serbia on April 19, 2010, with the basic task of improving the safety of children in Serbia. Beginning with CNZD’s mission of safeguarding the rights and enhancing the safety and security of children and young people in Serbia, alongside the Tijana Jurić Foundation’s aim to enhance child safety through preventative measures, education, and cultural initiatives, both organizations share a unified objective of strengthening the protection of children and youth from the risks of disappearance and exploitation. Recognizing this shared vision, the Center and the Foundation entered into a Cooperation Agreement in 2017, marking the commencement of collaborative endeavors between the two entities.

In the following period, the successes of CNZD were largely achieved thanks to the ideas and initiatives of its leadership led by Igor Jurić, founder of the Tijana Jurić Foundation, father of Tijana Jurić, a fifteen-year-old girl who tragically died in 2014 as a victim of kidnapping and abuse. –

In 2021, CNZD formally adopted a new Statute and continued to operate with Igor Jurić as the president of the Center at the head, in cooperation with a team of experts from various fields relevant to the realization of the organization’s mission and vision.

The Center for Missing and Exploited Children preserves the memory of Tijana, her name, character and everything she owed us.
