The project was implemented in 2022 with the aim of enhancing the influence of civil society on representatives of the business sector in the domain of child safety protection, along with increased public participation in the process of reporting unwanted content on the internet. Through the project, internet service providers were engaged in dialogue regarding the importance of intersectoral collaboration in preventing and combating the sexual exploitation of minors online. Additionally, over 500 citizens were directly informed, and more than 50,000 citizens were indirectly informed about the functioning of the Net Patrol, encouraging their greater involvement in the process of preventing and combating the sexual exploitation of minors online. The final result of the project pertains to the acquisition of new knowledge and skills by the Center’s team members on topics related to policy influence, public advocacy processes, and specific practices in preventing and combating the sexual exploitation of minors online. The project was implemented within the program “Active Citizens – Better Society: Advocating for Cooperation and Democratic Development in Serbia,” conducted by the Belgrade Open School with support from the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
